Hugely Impressive Print Packaging Drying System

Natgraph's impressive 200 degree drying modules produced for a high-speed packaging printing application

Three 200°C, Auto-Tracking Inlet, Print Drying Modular System

We have a drying system with a series of huge hot air modules, with integrated inlet module running through its final stages of production.

Dave, our vastly experienced mechanical engineer, has worked in almost every manufacturing process here over the years and brings his wealth of experience and knowledge into every single high performance electro-mechanical heating and cooling module produced here at Natgraph.

These three heating modules are being manufactured for our close and long-established customer who develop and supply advanced high-speed printing and production technologies for their customer’s industrial applications on a truly global scale.

All the heated modules are 2m each in length, combined to suit the specific drying cycle time required, these will be operating at 200 degrees centigrade. The integrated inlet module is also equipped with high-performance auto-tracking features, essential for this application.

Integrated into the drying system is Natgraph’s intelligent energy control system which switches the dryer into a power saving standby mode if printing is interrupted for a selected period. The belt and fan speeds are reduced, and the dryer will go into rapid start up mode once a sheet is detected.

Global Installation and Commissioning

A common and interesting logistical challenge with installation and commissioning.
