Long-standing employees like Karl, whose extensive expertise and product knowledge are fundamental
Karl’s journey has been integral to Natgraph’s success story since he joined in 1988.
As a highly skilled welder proficient in SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and plasma arc welding, alongside his abilities in sheet metal working, fabrication and fitting, Karl played a key role from the outset. He was instrumental in building the stencil processing units and wash-out baths that formed the bedrock of Natgraph’s business in the 1980s. His early work on these essential screen printing components – hand tables, UV exposure units, drying cabinets and wash-out booths – provided him with a profound and deep understanding of our core products.
Karl’s contribution extended to the development of Natgraph’s first air force dryers in the late 1980s. His expertise in this area led to his transition to the design team in 1998, where his existing 2D CAD skills proved invaluable. He seamlessly adapted to 3D design software in 2002 and continues to be a driving force within our engineering design team, capable of contributing at every stage of a project.
Currently, Karl is focused on a specialised web drying unit designed for a comprehensive drying system, destined for integration into a roll-to-roll drying module frame for a prestigious Swiss manufacturer of high-precision printing, coating, and laminating systems.
At Natgraph, we recognise the immense value of long-standing employees like Karl, whose extensive expertise and product knowledge are fundamental to our ability to deliver comprehensive and tailored engineered drying and curing solutions globally.
